VALD Systems
ForceDecks, ForceFrame & NordBord — the objective backbone of our testing system. We use them two ways: to profile the whole athletic system, and to measure the capacity of the injured tissue against real benchmarks.

Dual force plates for jump testing (CMJ, squat jump, drop jump), hop tests and landing analysis. Outputs countermovement depth, concentric and eccentric peak force, rate of force development and left-right asymmetry — our primary whole-system power and landing profile.
Fixed-frame dynamometry for precise isometric strength testing across the body: quadriceps, hamstrings, hip abductors/adductors, calf, shoulder external rotation and abduction, and more. This is where we directly quantify injured tissue force capacity.
Dedicated nordic-curl dynamometry measuring eccentric hamstring force limb-by-limb. Eccentric hamstring strength is one of the strongest modifiable risk factors for hamstring strain injury — and a core criterion in our return-to-sprint decisions.
Every device feeds a tissue-specific capacity profile for the injuries we treat.
ForceDecks single-leg hop and landing LSI, ForceFrame quadriceps and hamstring isometrics, and force-decay profiles to clear return-to-play criteria after ACL reconstruction.
ACL Management →NordBord eccentric force and bilateral deficit, ForceFrame hip extension isometrics, and sprint momentum from our timing gates to protect and progressively load the healing hamstring.
Hamstring Rehab →ForceFrame isometric external rotation, internal rotation and abduction testing — quantifying rotator cuff and scapular capacity through post-op rehab and contact-sport return.
Shoulder Rehab →ForceFrame calf raise and plantarflexion isometrics plus ForceDecks reactive strength — tracking the calf-Achilles complex capacity through sprain, tendinopathy and post-op rehab.
Ankle & Calf Rehab →Profile the system, measure the tissue, programme, re-test.
Leave no stone unturned
Strength and power data is one aspect of the recovery — but it is the aspect we refuse to leave to chance. We develop how people move, reduce pain, and rebuild the strength and power profile that helps injured players return to performance.
If you send a post-op knee back to play sport that's producing 50% less force than the other limb, then there will be repercussions.
A full athlete profile, or a focused force test on your injured tissue — objective numbers, benchmarked and explained.
