Performance & Testing

Objective data, from whole-athlete system capacity down to the strength of the injured tissue — because return to performance should be measured, never guessed.

What We Test

One System, Four Testing Suites

Every tool we use feeds a single athlete profile — so the overall system and the injured tissue are always trained against real numbers.

VALD Systems

ForceDecks, ForceFrame & NordBord — objective strength, power, rate of force development and limb asymmetry across the whole body.

Speed Gates & Biomechanics

SmartSpeed timing gates with sprint momentum profiling, combined with 3D biomechanical analysis of how you actually move.

Learn more →

Velocity Based Profiling

Bar-velocity tracking to autoregulate gym loading — protecting the injured tissue while keeping the whole system progressing.

Learn more →

Isokinetic Testing

Gold-standard strength ratios and torque curves at controlled speeds — the benchmark used after ACL and other knee surgery.

The Testing Loop

The Performance Testing Pathway

The same loop runs for every athlete, from post-op week one to pre-season peak. Every cycle produces measurable outcomes — so you can see exactly how your force and power profile, and your performance, are improving.

Re-test every 4-6 weeks Assess & Profile Whole-athlete battery Injured Tissue Capacity vs opposite limb Individual Programme System + tissue loading Re-Test Benchmark every 4-6 weeks Return to Performance Measured, not guessed

Every re-test gives you a fresh force and power profile — a clear, measurable record of how far your performance has come.

How Our Testing System Works

1

We start with the complete picture: jump power and landing asymmetry on the force plates, isometric strength across key muscle groups, sprint splits and momentum, and movement quality. This is the athlete's system fingerprint — useful even when nothing hurts.

2

Next we isolate the injured tissue and test its specific capacity: NordBord hamstring force for hamstring injuries, calf and ankle isometrics for ankle & calf rehab, shoulder external rotation and abduction for the shoulder, and quadriceps/hamstring ratios for the knee. Every value is compared limb-to-limb and against your own baseline.

3

Your rehab or performance programme targets exactly what the data flagged — no generic sessions. Load is autoregulated with velocity based profiling so we always know if the system is adapting or the injured tissue is lagging.

4

Every 4-6 weeks we re-test and benchmark against return-to-performance criteria: limb symmetry indices, tissue-specific force targets, and sport-specific speed and momentum goals. You return when the numbers say you're ready — not when the pain stops.

Our Principle

We test the whole system and the injured tissue — because return to performance needs both.

Book Your Testing Session

Whether you need a full athlete profile or a focused test on one injured tissue, we'll give you objective numbers and a clear plan.
