We are conveniently located in the heart of Ireland - Tullamore, Co Offaly. We provide a dynamic, rapidly accessible physiotherapy service for spinal and sport related injuries. Our aim is to resolve symptoms quickly as well as treating the underlying cause. We are open, honest and skilled in the treatment of your condition – this has led to a reputation we are proud of.

Meet Our Team



Christian Coombs



Christian graduated from Curtin University with a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Physiotherapy. Prior to this he attained his BSc in Chartered Physiotherapy from Cardiff Medical School. He also has a  BSc Honours Degree in Exercise Physiology from Glamorgan University. Christian is currently completing a Masters in Strength & Conditioning at St Marys University, London. He works as a lecturer at the Technological University of the Shannon presenting  the BSc Athletic Therapy & Rehabilitation degree.

His special interests are sprinting mechanics, chronic pain, spinal pain, tendinopathy and sports rehabilitation. Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist he has continued to build his academic qualifications with post graduate qualifications in spinal manipulative therapy, nerve tissue mobilisation, sprinting mechanics, clinical Pilates, advanced biomechanics, gait scan and orthotic prescription, dry needling & acupuncture, orthopaedic manual therapy & sports trauma management.  

He has provided Physiotherapy for various International Athletes (Olympic Sprinters & Endurance Athletes, International Boxers, Paralympic Athletes, Professional Tennis Players, Professional Golfers, International Rugby Players). He has extensive experience in the sport setting and corporate environment.

  • Head physiotherapist to Westmeath Gaelic Football Team (2011 - 2015)
  • Medical Co-ordinator Offaly Gaelic Football Team (2018)
  • Provides Sports Physiotherapy & Performance testing to International Olympic Athletes and Professional Rugby Players.


David Gaye



David graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology with a BSc Honours Degree in Athletic Therapy and Rehabilitation. He has since gained a MSc Honours Degree in Strength and Conditioning. He has further added to his academic qualifications with a diploma in Pilates and a certificate in biomechanics enabling him to provide gaitscan assessments and orthotic prescription.

David has a special interest in repetitive musculoskeletal injuries, spinal pain, dry needling & acupuncture, post operative rehabilitation (ACL, Spinal Issues, Hip Arthroscopy, Shoulder Reconstruction) and elite performance. His experience in the private sector has enabl
ed him to become accomplished with musculoskeletal, neurogenic and orthopaedic conditions. David has extensive experience in the sport setting with Inter County Senior Footballers & Hurlers, International Athletes as well as athletes from a variety of sporting backgrounds.

David Harrington



David is an Athletic & Rehabilitation Therapist with a background in Strength & Conditioning over the last 9 years. He has a keen interest in all things sport. His combination of Strength & Conditioning and Athletic Therapy skills has seen him work across a number of sporting environments  such as rugby, hurling, gaelic football teams, and at present SSE Airtricity League team Athlone Town FC.

David has a vast experience in the clinical setting, with a particular interest in neck, back pain, dry needling / acupuncture and chronic conditions. He enjoys working with all ages and abilities, and is fully committed to returning patients/athletes to full pain free function and mobility.


Megan Burns



Megan graduated from UCD with a BSc in Chartered Physiotherapy. Since graduating she has been involved with Postgraduate research in UCD developing apps for managing Athletes. On top of this she is an Elite Athlete with Irelands sevens team representing her country in the World Series. This has enabled her to develop her knowledge of the Elite sport setting. 

Her special interests include orthopaedic rehabilitation (post op shoulder, hip, knee and ankle), return to performance in sport, biomechanics, spinal pain, tendinopathy and sports rehabilitation. Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist she has continued to build her experience clinically with amateur and elite athletes along with providing physiotherapy for Offaly Ladies County Football team. 





Kevin Gavin



Kevin graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology with a BSc Honours Degree in Athletic Therapy and Rehabilitation. He has since gained a MSc Honours Degree in Physical Activity & Health. Kevin is currently in the final phase of his PhD research, examining the contribution of Gaelic football participation to the overall physical activity levels in Irish youths. This has led to an indepth knowledge and understanding of the physical activity levels attained during Gaelic football.

Kevin also works as a Lecturer in Athlone Institute of Technology, delivering the BSc Athletic Therapy & Rehabilitation programme. He has a special interest in physical activity and health, sports, orthopaedic and spinal pain. He has provided  Athletic Therapy in various sports team settings and has vast clinical experience.
